Centered around the capital island of Majuro, the Marshall Islands chapter was working on setting up an event to educate young children about ocean conservation and sustainable fisheries. Sadly, once the coronavirus pandemic hit, the event had to be canceled. They have decided to continue to push onwards, utilizing their club to perform beach cleanups and organizing field trips to help show youth the beauty of nature and the necessity of protecting their island. As they face flooding and a myriad of environmental issues caused by climate change, iTUNA wishes to broadcast their message to countries across the Pacific Ocean, showcasing the need for climate action in order to save our beautiful island countries like the Marshall Islands.
